Sound familiar?
The day ends. The tension doesn’t.
Eight hours at a desk, a shift on your feet or two hours in traffic: your shoulders stay up by your ears and your legs feel heavy long after you’ve stopped.
Tight neck and shouldersA stiff lower backHeavy calvesAching solesNo time for a massage
A massage means booking, driving, waiting and paying, every single time. So it hardly ever happens.
What if it was waiting in your living room, every evening?
How it works
Four kinds of massage, working at once.
A full body massage chair should reach more than your back. The Float works from your neck to the soles of your feet in the same session.
01
Six rollers, neck to lower back
Kneading rollers at your neck, upper back and lower back: the places where the day settles first.
02
Airbags that hug
Air cells at the shoulders, arms, calves and feet fill and release in rhythm. Three intensities, from a gentle hug to a firm squeeze.
03
Warmth at your back and calves
Heat makes the massage feel deeper and the chair cosy on cold evenings. Turn it on or off whenever you like.
04
Rollers under your feet
The footrest kneads your soles while the airbags hold your calves.
Zero gravity
One button. You float.
Press zero gravity and the chair tilts back until your knees rise to about the level of your heart. Your weight spreads across the whole chair instead of resting on your lower back, so you feel lighter and sink deeper into the rollers.
Position 1 · Initial
A light tilt, for a massage while you read or watch.
Position 2 · Comfort
Further back, legs raised, shoulders relaxed.
Position 3 · Deep
Full zero gravity. The chair stays here when the session ends, so you can stay a few more minutes.
5 automatic programs
Pick a program. Or make it yours.
Choose one of the five automatic programs and the chair runs the rollers, airbags and heat for you. Prefer to steer? Set the airbag intensity, switch the heat on or off and slide the footrest out up to 13 cm (5 in), all from the panel on the armrest.
Bluetooth speakers
Your playlist or a podcast, played through the chair.
Soft side lights
Blue ambient lights along the sides, for a calm room at night.
Tablet and phone holder
A flexible arm holds your screen at eye level while you lie back.
Wheels
Tilt it back and roll it to another room, or away from the wall to clean.
Massage chair vs. the usual fixes
Why a full massage chair?
A massage cushion only reaches your back. A handheld massager needs your hands. A massage visit needs your diary.

Buyer’s guide
How to choose a zero gravity massage chair
Most massage chairs look alike in photos. These five checks decide whether you’ll love yours or send it back.
-
Check your size first
Every chair is built for a range of heights and weights, so the rollers land in the right places. MONKIKA Float: 1.55–1.83 m (5′1″–6′0″), up to 81 kg (180 lb). Taller or heavier? This chair isn’t for you, and we’d rather say so now.
-
Measure your room and your doors
Check the floor space, then the doorways on the way in. MONKIKA Float: 131 × 72 cm of floor, 100 cm tall, delivered in one box that needs a doorway of at least 76 cm (30 in).
-
Look at where the rollers sit
The neck, upper back and lower back carry most of the day. MONKIKA Float: 6 rollers from your neck to your lower back.
-
Count the zones
The value of a full body massage chair is in what it reaches beyond your back. MONKIKA Float: airbags at the shoulders, arms, calves and feet, plus foot rollers and heat.
-
Read the delivery, returns and warranty
A massage chair is big and heavy. Know how it arrives and what happens if something goes wrong. MONKIKA Float: tracked delivery, 14-day returns, 1-year warranty included and up to 3 years with MONKIKA Care.
Will it fit?
Will it fit you, and your room?
A massage chair recliner needs more room than an armchair. Two minutes with a tape measure now saves a 47 kg return later.

How to use a massage chair
Sit. Press. Let go.
-
Sit all the way back
Rest your arms in the armrests and your calves in the leg rest, then slide the footrest until your soles sit on the rollers.
-
Recline and pick a program
Press zero gravity, choose one of the 5 programs, then make the airbags gentler or firmer if you like.
-
Give it 15 minutes
A 15-minute session is a good place to start. When it ends, the chair stays reclined, so there’s no rush to get up.
Who it’s for
For anyone whose body works hard all day.
Desk days
For the neck and shoulders that carry eight hours of screens.
On your feet
For nurses, cooks, shop staff and parents: calves and soles that did all the walking.
After training
For legs and backs that went to the gym, the pitch or the trail.
Your evening ritual
Music on, lights low, fifteen minutes that are only yours.
A gift that gets used
For the people who say they need nothing.
Most big gifts end up in a cupboard. A massage chair becomes the seat everyone wants. For your parents, for a partner who’s on their feet all day, or for the two of you.

Questions
Zero gravity massage chair questions, answered
What is a zero gravity massage chair?
A massage chair that reclines you until your knees are about level with your heart. Your weight spreads across the whole chair, you feel lighter, and the rollers can work deeper into your back. The Float has 3 recline positions, the last one being full zero gravity.
Will it fit my height and weight?
It fits people from 1.55–1.83 m (5′1″–6′0″) and up to 81 kg (180 lb). Outside that range, the rollers and airbags won’t sit in the right places, and a larger chair will suit you better.
How much space does it need?
Upright, it measures 131 × 72 × 100 cm (51.6 × 28.5 × 39.4 in), length × width × height. Leave some room behind it for the recline and in front for the footrest, which slides out up to 13 cm (5 in).
Will the box fit through my door?
The chair arrives in one box of 108 × 70 × 70 cm (42.5 × 27.6 × 27.6 in). Your doorways need to be at least 76 cm (30 in) wide.
Does it need assembly?
A little. The chair arrives in one box with an illustrated manual. Plan two people to unpack it and put it in place: it weighs 47 kg (104 lb).
How long should a session last?
A 15-minute session is a good place to start. Begin with the gentler settings and build up from there.
Can I use it every day?
Yes, one session a day is a good rhythm. If you have a medical condition, ask your doctor first.
Is the Float a massage chair with heat?
Yes, with heat at your back and calves. You can switch the heat on or off from the panel on the armrest.
Can I play music through it?
Yes. Connect your phone by Bluetooth and play your playlist or a podcast through the chair’s speakers.
Who should not use it?
Ask your doctor before using it if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or another implanted device, have had recent surgery or have any medical condition. The chair is not suitable for children. Stop if you feel any pain or discomfort.
How long does delivery take?
US orders ship from our US warehouse and usually arrive in 3 to 8 business days. Europe and the Gulf: 12 to 25 business days. Every chair is tracked and insured, and your tracking link is sent by email.
What is your return policy for the chair?
You have 14 days from delivery to return it, in as-new condition and in its original box. Return shipping is at your cost, usually $150 to $300 because of the chair’s size and weight. We refund you within 14 days of receiving it back. Our 60-day home trial applies to our smaller massagers only. Full details in our return policy.
What warranty comes with it?
Every Float has a 1-year limited warranty: free replacement of defective parts under normal home use. With MONKIKA Care you get full cover (mechanical breakdowns, electrical faults and manufacturing defects) for 2 or 3 years. In the EU, the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity also applies, whatever you choose. Details in our warranty terms.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal, processed securely by Stripe and PayPal. Where available in your country, PayPal Pay Later lets you split the payment.
Is the MONKIKA Float a medical device?
No. It is a comfort and wellness product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
